Toms Landing & Tuk Bay On Lac Seul

Tom’s Landing & Tuk Bay Outposts On Lac Seul

We are very excited to offer two outposts on the Famous Lac Seul! Tuktegweik Bay and Tom’s Landing have been operated by Anderson’s lodge for years, and now, in 2025, we can call them SFO camps, and we are very happy to now call them ours. These two locations will be mainly a fly-in, just like our other outposts. Saying that you can also boat in with your own boat! Located in prime waters on Lac Seul, it’s around an hour and a half from the Deception boat launch.

Tom’s Landing Outpost is a 10-person cabin, while Tuk Bay is a 6-person setup, both very similar to our SFO Cabins already. We are in our first year with these camps. Everyone who has been at these camps for the last few years or longer is in for a surprise. We will be adding our SFO touch to both locations as the summer goes on. While both of them don’t need much, we have some great ideas.

At Slate Falls Outposts we strive to make your trip that much better than the last. Few notable things that you will see right away will be new high-back Boat seats, WIFI to communicate with us, New BBQ, and two burner Fish cookers with nice pots and pans. Head over to “At the outposts” to learn more about what we have at our camps! Some of the biggest adds will be New boats and motors with electric start engines. New generators with electric start, life jackets, Minnow buckets, anchors. Tuk Bay also received 2 Lund Fury boats with full floors and storage.

Fishing

on Lac Seul pretty much speaks for itself, being possibly the top drivable lake in Canada for Walleye, Pike, Bass, and Muskie.  Lac Seul is the second largest body of water located entirely within Ontario, Canada. In our first summer in the books we seen some amazing fish caught! With lots of walleyes over 27 inches couple of the biggest right off the dock at each camp we caught in the spring time. The 2 largest of the season caught in the fall caught by The Genzler group hauling in a 30″ and a 32″. Muskie was a 53 inch for the big one of the year caught by the Hollenson group along with another 10 fish boated. We seen some really nice pike but no Monsters last summer. and the Bass up around 20 inches being the biggest.

Looking forward to another season and more improvements at both camps in 2026
