Hooker Lake Outpost
The Hooker Lake outpost is located in the St.Raphael Heritage canoe park. This outpost site was closed for most of the 1990’s making for some very hungry fish. Slate Falls Outposts has reopened it for the 2016 season as a single outpost cabin. The cabin now has all of the Slate Falls Outposts amenities including. Solar lights and running water, solar refrigeration, boardwalk to the cabin, attractive fire area, new boat slip dock with handrails, 15 hp new Honda 4 stroke motors. We have rebuilt this cabin, with covered deck and screened in porch. Two separate sleeping cabins that hold 3 people have been a huge hit. The facility can hold up to 12 people comfortably.
The Lake and Fishing
The lake is varied and interesting. It has many beaches and a variety of water from 100 feet to large sandy shoals. Excellent transition zones for the walleyes to stack up on. Numbers and average size on the walleyes has been very rewarding and all groups this year have had a good story to relay to us on their departure. Hooker Lake hard to find an equal in the abundant walleye category.
There are 9 lakes on the lake system. They are all accessible from our location by boat. Some of the best fishing spots like most of our camps are very close to camp,How nice is that! Do you think hooker lake would be a good option for your group? Or want to get some more information about it?
