Fly-in services is a huge part of Slate Falls Outposts
When you are heading to the middle of no where for a week it is nice to know that you are being kept an eye on, right? That’s why you want great fly-in services! Every couple of days we are stopping by to deliver more ice, bait or supplies, pick up your garbage and just make sure that everything is running well. We have been doing this for decades and it is really the key to making sure that everything that can be reasonably foreseen is looked after and someone who cares is also there to deal with the unforeseen that occasionally pop up.
Depth Maps
We can all agree fishing is the reason your coming up! why not have a huge head start to your trip by having a very good Depth maps! Most camp will give you a hand drawn to basic black and white lake map. At SFO we have color depth maps that are water on water proof paper, how nice is that! With every group we sit down and go over the map to talk fishing, travel routes and hazards. Don’t be left in the dark at some other lake when the owner give you all the info we can! head over to each cabin to download the maps to check out!
Depth Finders
Back in the day depth finders were just as good as a string and a rock! Maybe you are still using that one (if so sorry)? But don’t worry at SFO we have a extremely cheap and great way to get you on more fish! We rent out nice fish finders with color display and they really show the bottom even your jig! For only $40 bucks for 5 day trip or $60 for a 7 day trip you can catch more fish!
Texting from the cabin
No this is not to text your wife/husband and tell her you cant sleep cause you miss them! this is to make sure your are not forgot about and you are having the best trip! With the texter you can message Ryan with a question? Need another case of beer dropped off when we come by next? or maybe an issue at camp? At Slate Falls Outposts we are there for you the whole time not just when you show up and leave! feel safe and cared about while staying any of our outposts!
Satellite Phones
Texter not enough? wanna feel more safe not a problem, we have Sat phones at you can take in the boat in a water proof case. or maybe you just wanna check in at home or worst case you have to check in at work? we do not recommenced this as it will take away from the total experience of the true Canadian wilderness but do what you must!
Guides
Fly-in services start with a great team! Cause who knows maybe you don’t wanna text or call you just wanna sit back and relax and not even pick your where to fish next? then you need one of our super qualified guides. We offer guides for one day to new groups for free if we can move them around efficiently. This way you can get the feel for the cabin and lake quickly and have the best start to your trip. They are also available for 2 or more days and to make your trip that much more enjoyable.
Food Plans
Staying on the easy of coming up to SFO, we can have your food completely ready for you! just tell us you want the food plan and we do the rest. Cost is $45 per day for each person and eat like kings while you’re in the bush! Ran out of something no problem we will re stock you with supplies asap at no extra charge!
Food Lists
Very similar to the food plan but you do the hard work and make the list of thing you want us to pick up still has the ease of showing up with the list ready to go with your group!
